The silverback of the "H" group of mountain gorillas keeps an eye on his group in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwest Uganda, June 12, 2004. The group of 20, are among the 700 mountian gorillas in the world. Tourists may visit in Uganda and Rwanda, the gorillas made famous in the the film "Gorillas in the Mist" about Dianne Fossey's work with the primates. The Uganda Wildlife Authority limits the number of tourists who may visit a group of gorillas to six people for one hour per day. The gorillas have increased in number by 17 percent from 1996 to 2004. (Rick D'Elia)
