A Rwandan child rests her weary feet after seeing medical personel at the AmeriCares Buranga, Rwanda clinic Oct., 1994. The New Canaan, Connecticut humanitarian organization set up clinic about half way between Goma Zaire (now Congo) and Rwanda's capitol Kigali to help people returning from the refugee camps in Goma. AmeriCares ran the clinic from Aug. to Dec. 1994. (photo Rick D'Elia)
