Airliners touch down at Sky Harbor International Airport as workers of Ames Construction pave the apron surrounding a new section concrete of taxiway which was installed in an $11.7 million project funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.  The project began in July 2009 and is expected to be completed by the end of Feb 2010. The project employed 285 people from design to construction. Phoenix is a major hub for Southwest Airlines.
