A U.S. Airforce C-5 cargo jet sits on the tarmac waiting to be unloaded after it's arrival in Mogadishu, Somalia in support of Operation Restore Hope in 1993. At the time, the aircraft was the largest cargo aircraft in the world. The C-17 more recently put into service may now surpass the C-5.
