Agole John, 75, creates rope to create a sleeping mat while living in Lira Cultural Center Camp for internally displaced persons. He arrived in march of 2003 after a close call with rebels. They campe to his home, slaughtered his goats and chickens for supper and then slept. In the morning the group left, leaving him alive. Given the reprieve, he realized how dangerous it was in his village and immediately fled. (Rick D'Elia) April 2004.
